Fixed-price SaaS, martech and analytics audit
Bearings is a fixed-price audit of your SaaS, martech and analytics. In two to three weeks you get a costed list of every tool, the overlap and waste with the savings sized, a check on whether your numbers can be trusted, and a plan for what to keep, cut or replace.
We confirm the scope and the fixed price before you commit.
ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 42001 certified · 30 years building and running digital products
A big renewal is coming up, budget planning has turned up costs nobody can explain, or a new leader has inherited the stack.
Every renewal you sign without a review locks the waste in for another year.
Nobody has a complete list of the tools you pay for, or when they renew.
Two or three teams pay for tools that do the same job.
Licence counts haven't changed since the team did.
Someone challenges the GA4 numbers in every leadership meeting.
Renewals arrive before anyone has checked who's using the tool.
Software costs creep
Licences go unused and prices rise at renewal, because the contracts are written that way.

of US marketers surveyed say siloed or incomplete data is a top barrier to accurate measurement.
Bearings tells you which of these apply to you, what they're costing, and which renewals to act on first.

With the people who use the tools.
Analysis and savings model.
Playback and action plan.
Where every tool lands
Every tool ends up in one of four places, with the reason and the saving or cost next to it.
Used, valued and worth the money. Check the licence count at renewal.
Unused or duplicated. Cancel or don't renew, with the saving shown.
Needed, but the wrong tool or the wrong price. What to move to, and the effort involved.
Unclear ownership, data risk or a contract question to settle before renewal.
A fixed price, agreed up front
We confirm the scope and the price before you commit, and the fee counts towards what comes next.
Any software your business pays for or signs into, including SaaS subscriptions, martech, analytics, collaboration and AI tools, and tools bought on expenses.
Migrating or rebuilding tools (quoted separately, with the fee credited within 60 days).

The number of tools, business units and markets, and whether you want vendor negotiation support.
We handle your access and data under our ISO 27001 certified information security system, with read-only access and an NDA as standard.
The things people usually ask
Plain answers on how Bearings works, what it costs and what we need from you. Anything else, just ask.
Procurement sees what was bought. It usually doesn't see who uses it, which tools do the same job, or tools bought on expenses and cards.
They're useful, and we use them. But every vendor measures activity differently, and none of them will tell you to cancel.
Often, but we won't promise it. What you're buying is the evidence to make the call before you renew, either way.
Read-only access to billing and admin consoles is enough. We agree it at kick-off and work under an NDA.
No. Bearings ends with decisions and a plan. If you want help acting on it, that's scoped separately, with the fee credited if you go ahead within 60 days.
You get the plan whichever way you go. Many of the fixes are "cancel this", which earns us nothing.
