When your Laravel app is falling behind

If your app is on Laravel 11 or older, it no longer gets security fixes. We'll upgrade it, take it over, or build the next version properly.

  • Your app runs on Laravel 11 or older, which no longer gets security fixes.

  • You inherited a Laravel codebase, and the developer who wrote it has gone.

  • Background jobs back up, and the app slows down when it's busy.

  • You're on Laravel Vapor, which no longer takes new customers, and you're weighing up where to go next.

The things people usually ask

Plain answers on how Laravel works, what it costs and what we need from you. Anything else, just ask.

Our app is on Laravel 10 or 11. Is that a risk?

Yes. Laravel 11 stopped getting security fixes in March 2026, and older versions before that. Laravel 12 gets security fixes until February 2027, and Laravel 13 until March 2028.

Can you take over a codebase someone else built?

Yes. We review the code, the tests and the hosting first, then agree what we'll look after.

Livewire or Inertia?

Livewire keeps everything in Laravel, which suits admin-heavy apps and smaller teams. Inertia pairs Laravel with a Vue or React front end, which suits richer interfaces. We'll recommend one based on your team.

Should we move to Laravel Cloud?

It's often the simplest option for a new app, and Vapor no longer takes new customers. For an existing app, it depends on your traffic, your data and what else runs alongside it. We'll compare the options with you.

Laravel or Symfony?

Both are solid PHP frameworks, and Laravel is built on parts of Symfony. Laravel is usually quicker to build with. Symfony suits large, long-lived platforms that need a strict structure. We work with both.

  • CRM, marketing automation and sales tools in one platform.

  • A structured content platform: one source of content for websites, apps and everything else.

  • Ecommerce software for personalised marketing, product search and content.

  • Behaviour analytics: recordings, heatmaps, funnels and friction scores.

  • A visual website platform marketing teams can run themselves.

  • The company behind Claude.

  • Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Search Console.

  • Amazon's cloud: hosting, databases and AI models for web products.

  • An open-source CMS where editors change content on the page itself.

  • An open-source CMS behind a large share of the web.

  • An open-source PHP framework for complex, long-lived web applications.

  • A JavaScript framework for building fast, interactive front ends.

  • A JavaScript library for building user interfaces.

  • React for iPhone and Android apps, from one codebase.

  • Google's toolkit for building iPhone and Android apps from one codebase.

If we sound like a good fit, let's talk.
