Plain answers on how Vue works, what it costs and what we need from you. Anything else, just ask.
Is Vue 2 still safe to run?
Not really. Vue 2 reached end of life on 31 December 2023 and no longer gets free security fixes. Paid extended support exists, but upgrading is the long-term answer.
Can you upgrade without a rebuild?
Often. Vue 3 has a migration path, and much of the code carries over. Old plugins and Vuex usually need the most work. We'll audit the app and tell you.
Vue or React?
Both are good choices. Vue is often quicker to work with alongside Laravel. React has a bigger ecosystem, and React Native for mobile. We'll recommend one based on your team and what's already built.
