Why we did it
AI isn't a side project at a digital agency any more. It's writing, designing, coding, researching and shaping strategy across nearly everything we do. It's in the features we ship for clients and in the tools our team uses every day. Without a proper framework behind it, AI is a risk.
ISO 42001 is the world's first international standard for AI management systems. It makes you answer the hard questions:
- How are you assessing AI risk?
- Where does your data actually go?
- How do you know the outputs are fair, accurate and fit for purpose?
- Who's accountable when something doesn't land right?
We didn't want to wing it. We wanted an audited, internationally recognised framework.
What it means for clients
Every AI capability we build, for us or for you, now goes through a system that's tested, documented and audited. That means we can build and ship AI work faster and with more confidence, because the governance is already in place. As regulation tightens, with the EU AI Act only the start, you won't be scrambling to catch up with us.
It sits alongside our existing ISO 27001 (information security) and ISO 9001 (quality) certifications.
