When your WordPress site feels fragile

If every update risks breaking something, the site is slow, or another agency built it and left, we'll make it safe, fast and easy to run, or help you move on.

  • Every plugin update feels like it might break the site.

  • Another agency built it, and nobody knows how it's put together.

  • The site is slow, and the theme predates the block editor.

  • You're wondering whether WordPress is still the right CMS for you.

An open-source CMS, maintained by its contributor community, that runs a large share of the world's websites.

Marketing teams, publishers and B2B companies who want to edit their own site, from small businesses to large groups.

  1. Block editor

Pages built from blocks, edited by your team without code.

  2. Site Editor and block themes

Headers, templates and global styles, edited in the browser.

  3. Plugins

Extra features from tens of thousands of add-ons, and most of the security risk.

  4. WooCommerce

    Ecommerce on WordPress.

  5. REST API

WordPress as the back end for a separate front end (headless).

  6. Multisite

Several sites or brands from one install.

  7. WordPress VIP

    Automattic's enterprise hosting and platform.

  1. Takeovers and audits

A review of the theme, plugins, hosting and security, then a plan to fix what matters first.

  2. Security and updates

WordPress, plugins and PHP kept current, with fewer plugins doing more.

  3. Speed and rebuilds

Faster pages, and old themes rebuilt with the block editor so your team can edit them.

The things people usually ask

Plain answers on how WordPress works, what it costs and what we need from you. Anything else, just ask.

Is WordPress secure enough for a B2B company?

It can be. Almost all WordPress vulnerabilities are in plugins and themes, not WordPress itself: Patchstack counted 11,334 in 2025, and only 6 were in core. Fewer, well-maintained plugins and prompt updates make the difference.

Which version of WordPress should we be on?

The latest. WordPress only actively supports its most recent version, so updates aren't optional.

Can you take over a site another agency built?

Yes. We start with an audit of the code, plugins, hosting and access, then agree what we'll look after.

Should we go headless?

Only if you need the content in several places, or a front end a WordPress theme can't deliver. For most marketing sites, a well-built block theme is simpler and cheaper to run.

WordPress or another CMS?

WordPress suits teams who want lots of ready-made features and a big pool of developers. If you need structured content across several channels, Sanity is often better. If you want marketing and CRM in one place, HubSpot. We'll tell you which fits.

  • CRM, marketing automation and sales tools in one platform.

  • A structured content platform: one source of content for websites, apps and everything else.

  • Ecommerce software for personalised marketing, product search and content.

  • Behaviour analytics: recordings, heatmaps, funnels and friction scores.

  • A visual website platform marketing teams can run themselves.

  • The company behind Claude.

  • Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Search Console.

  • Amazon's cloud: hosting, databases and AI models for web products.

  • An open-source CMS where editors change content on the page itself.

  • An open-source PHP framework for web apps and platforms.

  • An open-source PHP framework for complex, long-lived web applications.

  • A JavaScript framework for building fast, interactive front ends.

  • A JavaScript library for building user interfaces.

  • React for iPhone and Android apps, from one codebase.

  • Google's toolkit for building iPhone and Android apps from one codebase.

If we sound like a good fit, let's talk.
