A payments platform publishing plenty of content

Modulr is a digital payments platform for businesses, handling payroll, supplier payments and collections. It had been publishing content for years and wanted it to do more for lead generation.

Articles competing with each other in search

After years of publishing, several pieces had come to target the same searches, so they competed with each other in Google and each one did less than it could.

Keep, merge or cut, page by page

In a focused audit we worked through Modulr's content and found what was worth building on. We merged overlapping articles, such as two separate pieces on virtual cards, into stronger single pages, and set out how the page templates should change for readers and for search.

A plan the redesign could be built on

Modulr came away with an evidence-backed roadmap that gives its publishing a clear focus, and a foundation for its next website redesign.
