A multilingual product catalogue for the launch of Vokes Air’s new brand.

Vokes Air is one of the largest manufacturers of air filtration products in the world. Having grown rapidly with the help of international acquisitions, Vokes Air faced a new challenge; keeping their brand and product catalogue consistent online. Throw in the added complication of communicating to an international audience across six different languages, Vokes Air needed the assistance of a digital agency with the technical know-how and creative ability to deliver an industry leading website.

How did we help?

With so many products, each with individual configuration options, we needed to build a product catalogue that was not only flexible and constant, but easy to use and maintain. We worked closely with Vokes Air to translate their new brand online, in an interface that’s clean and intuitive but full of useful functionality such as Live Chat, Quote Basket and Product Hotspots. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to make a website fully multilingual, especially a site with so much content and interactive functionality. Building a site for multiple languages also has a big design impact as no content can be of fixed width. Luckily we had plenty of experience in this arena; we even tied in the Google Translate API to reduce some of the legwork when creating new pages within the CMS.
