A Calling for Ruby Gurus

We are looking for another developer with at least 2 years commercial experience in Ruby on Rails.

Based in our New Lodge offices, this job is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated developer to get involved with an agency that works on challenging web and mobile projects - exciting applications with big name clients and new start ups. 

The right candidate will have a passion for creating accessible web applications.

It is essential that candidates have extensive experience in building dynamic, database driven websites and must also have personal projects that can be showcased. Links to online profiles such as StackOverflow would also be an advantage.

The working environment has a fantastic atmosphere where colleagues work and play together. Our stylish offices have games consoles for heated lunchtime battles, and the surrounding area has lots of nice country pubs for those developer brainstorming sessions! You'll be joining 4 other passionate Ruby on Rails developers and enjoying the opportunity to work with some great talent on great projects. 

Required skills:

• Ruby on Rails Experience

• Experience with OO languages other than Ruby

• Advanced CSS and XHTML knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of Javascript and jQuery

• Comfortable with Github/svn

• Good communication skills

Desired skills:

• SASS and HAML

• Experience working in a Unix environment

• Good understanding of server s and troubleshooting also a great bonus

Salary: Top market rate plus benefits for the right calibre of developer.
